Some of the files in this directory are sample CIS/2 files.

Several CIS/2 files are available to test the capabilities of a VRML plugin or IFC
application. Some VRML plugins might display some parts incorrectly and some IFC
applications might not process all of the IFC entities generated by SteelVis.

cis2_analysis.stp, cis2_design.stp, cis2_detailed.stp

Typical CIS/2 analysis, design and detailed models. Use these to test the
display
options found in the tabs.

cis2ifc_test1.stp, cis2ifc_test2.stp
Parametric profiles. Use these to test the Shape Representation options on the
IFC
tab. Some IFC applications do not process the parametric profiles correctly. In
that case use the Faceted Boundary Representation in the IFC tab.

cis2ifc_test3.stp
All sections, plate, bent plate, decking, curved beam. Some IFC applications
will
not process some of the parts. Some VRML plugins might not display the bent
plate,
decking, and curved beam correctly.

cis2_curved.stp
Beams that curve in every direction. Use with the option for curved parts in the
VRML tab. Curved beams have not been tested with IFC applications.

cis2ifc_test4.stp
Two parallel beams. An obscure test for IFC applications.
