The University of Liverpool Management School now has AACSB Accreditation achieved
by less than 5% of business schools worldwide.
Accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB),
one of the worlds leading business school accreditation organisations, is a hallmark of
excellence and widely sought after by business schools worldwide.
The accreditation covers all the schools programmes, including the MBA, Doctor of
Business Administration (DBA) and specialist MSc degree studies delivered online in
partnership with Laureate Online Education.
Highest achievement
John J. Fernandes, president and chief executive officer of AACSB International, said:
AACSB Accreditation represents the highest achievement for an educational institution and
its college of business. Through accreditation, the University of Liverpool has not only met
specific standards of excellence, but has also made a commitment to ongoing improvement to
ensure that the institution will continue to deliver high quality education to its students.
AACSB International is the largest and the longest standing specialised accrediting agency
for business and accounting programmes in the world. Earning AACSB Accreditation is
a voluntary process requiring significant commitment, self-assessment, peer review and
dedication. Every five years, schools must pass a rigorous peer review in order to maintain
their accreditation.
The online format allows very senior working executives with a scholar-practi-
tioner perspective to share their daily challenges. Only a high quality online
programme can offer this.
