Desktop Computers
o Our school has Mac desktop computers in our computer lab. Students in grades 1-
6 use this lab. The desktop computers are used for keyboarding lessons, research,
testing, etc.
MacBook Air Laptops
o Each faculty member at our school has MacBook Air laptops. Teachers do not use
desktop computers. Teachers in grades PK-12 use the MacBook Air laptops for
grading, lesson planning, instruction, etc.
iPads/tablets
o Each classroom in grades PK-3 has a class set of iPads for classroom/student use.
Students in grades 4-12 are required to have an iPad or tablet of their own for
school use.
o Teachers are also each given an iPad to use throughout the school year.
Interactive whiteboards
o Almost every classroom at our school has a interactive SMARTBoard. These
boards are used to deliver instruction, play games, show videos, etc.
Promethean Table/Board
o We have access to a Promethean Table that was donated by a family. The table
can be used in similar ways as with the interactive whiteboards. The table is on
the floor not the wall.
LCD Projectors
o In addition to the interactive whiteboards, each classroom is also equipped with
projectors to work alongside the whiteboard. Teachers in grades PK-12 use the
projectors.
Flash drives
o Both students and teachers use flash drives. Students can use them for in-class
projects, research activities, etc. Teachers can use them to share resources, upload
documents and pictures, etc.
Printer/copier
o Of course we have copier in our teacher workrooms. Our copiers are equipped
with the function to air print, so faculty/staff members can print from anywhere in
the school. All faculty/staff have access to these copiers.
3D printer
o We are fortunate to have two 3D printers on campus. Students have the
opportunity to learn how to use the printers and create 3D objects.
