SCREENPLAY FOR PICNIC

1. INT. HOUSE. DAY.

The CHILDREN playing with the bears and dolls.

DISSOLVE TO

2. INT.HOUSE. DAY

JOE sits at the table with the bear, eating his dinner.
Sophia his friend enters the room.

3. EXT. STREET. DAY

FADE TO

Showing JOE in the car with his bear, he is very attached

to it.

4. INT. HOUSE. DAY

Point of view of JOE looking through kitchen window

towards. JOE with the bear on a swing playing happily
with a large smile on his face.

5. INT. HOUSE. DAY

CHILDREN running down the stairs for dinner

6. EXT. HOUSE. DAY

The BEARS are forgotten when the CHILDREN go out for the
day, and are left on the stairs.

7. EXT. PLAYGROUND. DAY

School fight between JOE and BAILEY the bear is torn

apart by being pulled apart, then is thrown into the heap
of rubbish on the side of the playground.

8. EXT. PARK. NIGHT

FADE TO TEN YEAR LATER

The CHILDREN have grown up now and are at the park drinking
reminiscing old memories.

9. EXT. PARK. NIGHT

BAILEY goes to relieve himself in the woods, it is quiet

and peaceful and he is by himself.

10. EXT. WOODS. NIGHT

BAILEY is dragged away into the woods by the bears and

killed.

11. EXT. WOODS. NIGHT

His FRIENDS go to look for him but cannot find him and
then remember how they were told not to go into the woods
at night. They then are locked in the woods and are
hunted down by the bears.

12. EXT. WOODS. NIGHT

SOPHIA, JOE and JENNIFER are chased through the woods by

the bears and dragged around until SOPHIA and JENNIFER
are attacked and murdered.

13. EXT. WOODS. NIGHT

Covered in blood JOE then grabs the bear and frantically

starts digging a hole to bury the bear.
