Ipad App: Pixton Comic Maker
This assignment you will create your own comic story and characters in the app and
afterwards you will use the finished product as reference to draw on paper using
drawing pencils and making sure to add proper value and texture.

Directions:
1. Install the Pixton Comic Maker app on your Ipad.
2. Create your own Pixton Account. (To create one you must first go on Pixton.com)
3. Create a story using 3 Panels. The story is up to you and there are no limit to
how many characters are in it but there should be at least 1 character. (Who are
these characters and why are they important?)
4. Add a background and props to each panel. (Does the prop(s) have any
significant to the story? What does it add to the story?)
5. Add a title to your comic book.
6. Once you are done creating your comic export your comic to your photo album.
7. you will now grab a 11 x 14 drawing paper and create 3 large equal sized
squares on the paper.
8. You will use the comic you have created as a reference. You will draw the
background you have added, the characters, and the props. (Choose any art
style, for example, realistic or cartoon, etc.)
9. Keep in mind of lighting, the values, and add texture. (Where is the light source?)
10. bring your ipad to show case your comic you created alongside with your
completed drawing.
