Contract P226 North Satellite Concourse and Apron Works

PROJECT SYNOPSIS

1. This project involves the construction of a new two storey satellite

concourse building providing ten Code C bridge-served aircraft parking
stands. Passengers will be transported between the North Satellite
Concourse Building (NSC) and the existing Passenger Terminal Building
(PTB) by dedicated airside passenger vehicles.

2. The NSC has a total floor area of 16,000m2 surrounded by a 10m wide
head of stand road and 28,000m2 of aircraft aprons. The NSC will provide
the same level of service as that in the PTB and its main facilities will
include waiting lounges, gate desks, retail/food and beverage outlets, CIP
lounges, passenger amenities and back of house facilities.

3. The NSC will have a glazed facade to maximize natural lighting and views
to the aprons and runways. The building will be treated as an extension of
the PTB in terms of the airport systems and signage.

4. This project also includes the diversion of underground services at the NSC
site and upgrading 100,000m2 of asphalt pavement for eleven temporary
aircraft parking stands west of the Air traffic Control Centre in the mid-field.

5. Construction phasing will need to be carefully considered to minimise

disruption to the existing apron operations.

Contract P227 Rapid Exit Taxiways
(Design and Construction Stage Services )

PROJECT SYNOPSIS

1. This project involves the construction of two additional rapid exit taxiways
on the south side of the South Runway.

2. The location of the additional taxiways will be determined by the Authority.

The two taxiways will have a total of approximately 50,000m2 of asphalt
pavement complete with new drainage and airfield ground lighting (AGL)
systems.

3. This project will also require modifications to the existing drainage, fire
hydrant and AGL systems.
