This Is Medicaid opposes any cuts or restructuring of Medicaid that would decrease the health supports it provides to more than onemillion Minnesotans. ‘The budget resolution calls for trillions of dollars i families to afford basic necessities, like Medi cuts to federal services that allow Minnesota |, Medicare and food assistance through SNAP. These drastic and deep cuts to Medicaid are used in part to offset the cost of tax cuts that will primarily benefit those with the highest incomesand profitable businesses. Slashing crucial health care for seniors, people with disabilities, children and families and low-income adults through reductions to Me not the way forward fora strong national or state economy, or for thriving Minnesota communities and healthy families. This Is Medicaid asks you to keep the promise we made to Minnesota families more than 50 years ago by committing to voting against any budget resolution or other legislation that ‘would cut Medicaid or put Medicaid at risk for future cuts.
