supplier and trader of professional commercial and industrial cleaning
equipment with manufacturing facilities in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Italy,
Hungary, USA, Singapore and China. This
full time position leads the quality planning process for all functions in
support of the New Product Development Process, and develops and supports the
roll out of the NPD Quality Planning Process across all business entities
involved (product management, R&D, production sites, distribution centers
and key suppliers); develops NPD Quality Planning process and core tools
training materials, delivers training sessions, provides continual coaching and
certify NAPD project team members in order to build Quality Planning
organizational skills and execution capability; identifies, executes, supports
and follow ups improvement projects that impact TCOPQ as per the scope of the
NAPD project: warranty expenses, in process losses, inspection, quality
assurance delivering savings as per project objectives; provides continual
coaching to NAPD project team members on specific applications of core/support
quality tools, updates NAPD QP schedules; manages documentation NAPD QP core
processes and estimates status of KPIs identifying and addressing gaps;
organizes, documents and follows up quality reviews; promotes standardization,
identification and implementation of best practices across business entities
involved on NAPD QP projects, and identifies risks related to the quality plan
as well as propose and follow up mitigation actions, and develops and secures
approval of the Quality Plan for NPD projects. The position requires frequent
(approx.20%) travel internationally. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in
industrial, systems or
related engineering degree or equivalent foreign degree, plus 3 years of
employment experience as Quality Manager/Engineer in an environment of a global
Industrial equipment or commercial appliance manufacturing industry. This must
include teaching or coaching others in use of process and tools in Advanced
Product Quality Planning (APQP), preventive based quality, reliability growth
projection, 8D process and problems solving, structured problem solving
process, engineering analysis, and continuous improvement methodology such as
DMAIC or PDCA.
