This RC helicopter represents a SMALL .30

size RC Trainer, entry level nitro helicopter. Size, weight, dimension, hp
specifications were obtained from helihobby and thundertiger .com's respectively.

proper flight-model articulation. If operating on a low frame rate machine, I
recommend turning off any/all autogen, and reducing visibility to 1 mile. FPS +30
is required for proper flight model functioning with RC scale aircraft. This .30
size/scale rc heli is very sensitive to flight model flutter and on low fps
machines it will tip over and crash on the runway, and/or accelerations out of
limits NAN DELTHE! Error and exit the sim. Adjust the settings down to .5mi
visibility and lower tx resolution to minimum. PowerbookG3 400 can operate at
normal 16bit, 1mi but requires immediate takeoff and patience with the framerate
flutter tipovers. Once flying it's ok. This model is also sensitive to settling
with power, near ground/ in GE range.Caution: The Raptor 30 is near the limits of
the x-plane RC scale handling ability. +30 FPS is required for proper operation.
+40 is preferred.A dual analog stick (playstation style) controller is recommended
for proper feel and orientation/ control compared to a standard dual stick 4+
channel RC transmitter. Gravis has a series of dual stick analogs. Tested with the
Gravis eliminator.If using a dual stick analog controller that returns the sticks
to the center, calibrate the left stick (collective for only half travel. For the
left stick vertical movement axis, select collective, then move the stick from
center UP, then let it return to center. This will give the STANDARD collective
pitch helicopters neutral collective at neutral stick, and full collective at high
stick.In x-plane helicopters, throttle is automatic. Recommended joystick setupLeft
analog stick:Up/down: collective calibrated to half range for STANDARD, full range
for 3DL/R: yawRight analog stick:Up/Down: pitchL/R: rollNote. If you wish to try 3D
with this model. The factory recommended settings are only for -8 degree collective
