The theme of term one was fairy tales and a huge focus of the term was retellings. The retelling
focused on oral retellings however there was written and picture retellings that took place.

Term 2 and 3

Australian animals and mini beasts focusing on information reports and descriptions.

Term 4

Narratives (fiction) with emphasis on characters, setting, plot.
