may have work & travel or other type of work experiences abroad.
3. Among the types of international migration voluntary migration, forced migration
and illegal migration which one is the most applicable type of migration in
Uzbekistan? (consider immigrants flow to Uzbekistan)
4. What are the economic and non-economic motives for international migration?
5. Differentiate between:
a. Emigration and immigration;
b. Past migration and present migration;
c. Direct and indirect costs faced by migrants;
d. Brain drain and brain circulation.
6. Discuss the importance of labor migration in explaining the theories of international
migration:
Define the relationship between labor migration and each theory.
7. What are the pull factors that facilitate labor migration and how do they lower the
