Miilarville Community School (MCS) is a small kindergarten to grade eight school of about two hundred students. We were happy to have Miss Bouchard spend time in our school. While at MCS she taught in the grade three classroom with Miss Tandee Olver. Kayla was respecttul of her teacher leader and was very accepting of her instruction and feedback. Kayla planned and taught classes in math and also a science unit entitled “Hearing and Sound”. She attended early morning staff meetings each week and also helped prepare students for our annual Christmas concert. Kayla’s involvement in the school extended beyond her classroom as she participated in grade 7/8 basketball practices as well. Miss Bouchard quickly established trust with her students. When we asked a student about Miss Bouchard he said, "‘She is so nice.” Another student remarked, “She learned all our names right away. She has a very gentle and quiet voice. We learned a lot with her. My favorite thing that she did was the hearing and sound experiment with tin cans. You could really hear well. It was ‘cool.
