Intro

Everything is in constant motion. Every second in our lives involve motion and when there is
motion there is kinematics. Kinematics is the analysis of the motion of an object. It may be describing
using words, diagrams, numbers, graphs, and equations. In this experiment, kinds of motion in one
dimension like displacement, velocity and acceleration with respect to time will be the emphasis.

The experiment intends to (1) show the relationship of displacement versus time and velocity
versus time for uniform motion using graphs and (2) determine the normal reaction time of a person.

Theory

Kinematics is the geometry of pure motion motion considered abstractly, without reference to
force or mass. In this experiment, velocity, acceleration, and displacement will be emphasized. The total
