Tell me about Chelsea.

-LIGHT CAREFREE MUSIC-

EXT. PARK - DAY

MEDIUM ANGLE LONG SHOT
Chelsea and Milo are strolling leisurely in the park deep in
conversation, occasionally chuckling at what each other is
saying they continue to walk through the park. MILO seems to be
getting frustrated, gesturing, while CHELSEAs laughing at the
topic. MILO looks at her discerningly and CHELSEA laughs even
more, apologising. CHELSEA seems to look into the distance,
before noticing the swings, before nudging MILO and pointing.

MILO (V.O)
Shes my best friend.Weve known each other for as long as I can
remember.

LONG SHOT, MEDIUM ANGLE

Still next to each other, the pair look at each other and share
a wide grin.

MILO (V.O)
I dont really know what to say.

CLOSE UP TO MEDIUM SHOT, FLOOR LEVEL

They start running towards the swing. They drop their bags
before toppling onto the swings.

MILO (V.O)
She had a smile that lit up the room, she always knew how to
make people laugh.

MEDIUM SHOT, EYE LEVEL

The pair are on the swing laughing as they swing back and forth,
seeing who can go the highest.

CUT

INT. SCHOOL - QUIET SETTING - DAY

MID SHOT-EYE LEVEL
Chelsea and Milo are working independently, sitting next to each
other at a desk. Chelsea is writing notes - copying from a
textbook. Milo is typing on a laptop. They both have headphones
in .

MILO (V.O)
Shes way smarter than me. She has more patience to study,
always working at home. She could be friends with anyone, but
for some reason she stuck with me.

CHELSEA nudges MILO without looking up. MILO glances at CHELSEA,

with a small smile, before nudging her back. She laughs, before
rolling her eyes and going back to her work.

CUT

INT. CHELSEAS HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Mid shot- slightly to the left
MILO and CHELSEA are sitting on a sofa watching a film CHELSEAS
legs are resting on MILOS lap,eating popcorn from a bowl.The
lighting is quite low in order for them to see the film.

MILO (V.O)
She was always up for a laugh, at a party down the road, or just
a movie marathon on her sofa. She would make the most of any
situation.

CHELSEA throws popcorn at MILO, hitting him in the face. He
looks shocked and then they laugh.

-MUSIC STOPS-

THERAPIST (V.O)
Did you notice any change in Chelseas behaviour?

-HEART BEAT- INCREASING IN VOLUME.

INT. HOSPITAL - UNKNOWN

BIRDS EYE CLOSE UP
CHELSEAS FACE-her eyes are closed yet you can still see the
deep bags beneath them , her face is very pale.High key
lighting to emphasise the hospital setting and CHELSEAS
condition

MILO(V.O)
-Pause- She always used to say, the brightest lights cast the
darkest shadows... I never knew she was talking about herself.

-HEART BEAT STOPS-

-Slightly sad music begins to play-

INT. HOUSE - PARTY - NIGHT

LONG SHOT
In a room full of teenagers who are dancing while drinking from
red solo cups. CHELSEA looks down at her phone, oblivious to the
teenagers, drinking, dancing and socialising around her.

180-DEGREE WIDE SHOT PAN OF TEENAGERS, ENDING ON CHELSEA. DOLLY
ZOOM OF HER FACE,THEN OUT TO REVEAL NO ONE IN THE ROOM BUT

INT. HOUSE - BATHROOM
MEDIUM CLOSE UP
CHELSEA is pale with dark under-eyes
CHELSEA looks into the mirror and stares at her emotionless,
pale face. As she stares, she opens the cabinet to reveal a
plastic pill bottle filled with unknown pills. Which she
removes from the cabinet

CLOSE UP OF PILL BOTTLE

FADE IN

EXT. ROOF - SUNSET

WIDE SHOT, to the side of her body
CHELSEA is seen sitting on a roof looking blankly out into the
distance with an unlit cigarette in her hand.

CLOSE UP OF CHELSEAS FACE

CHELSEA brings the still unlit cigarette up to her mouth,using
her other hand to fiddle with a lighter and then brings the
lighter up to her face to light the cigarette

FADE OUT
INT. SCHOOL - HALLWAY
TRACKING SHOT FROM BEHIND MILO AND CHELSEA
CHELSEA is walking slowly by herself, while looking at the floor
solemnly. MILO walks up from behind and puts his arm around her,
they walk together.

FADE OUT
