The President was asked by the ‘Council to inform the National Member ‘Organizations about the possiole ways of developing industrial involvement and to ask them for their co-operation and help. ‘The Executive Board proposed to change the structure of the IFAC Textbook Prize Selection ‘Committee by including the respectively last EDCOM chairman ex officio and by changing the time frame for this prize. Both proposals, were approved unanimously by the Council ‘The Council changed the rules of granting supporto authors from developing counties with accepted papers and decided to use all available funds to support such authors to attend the tiannial IFAC World Congress.
