Chocolate Brownie Mug Cake

If youre feeling like chocolate cake but dont feel like dirtying a sink full of dishes, try a mug cake. A
simple mug serves here as both mixing bowl and cake pan, and a microwave takes the place of the oven.
Bonus: The cake is ready in just minutes. If you happen to have powdered sugar on hand, sprinkle or sift
1 teaspoon on top of your mug cake at the end to finish it off.

cup all-purpose flour


2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
teaspoon baking soda
Pinch sea salt
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons soft butter
cup hot water

Combine all the ingredients in a microwave-safe mug, and stir to mix. Microwave on high for 1 minute
and 45 seconds to 2 minutes, or until the cake is set in the center.
