the Honorable Mark McGowan MLA Premier of Western Australia. Id like
acknowledge the wholesaler CEOs who sponsored and supported this

and present an overview of the forum

Stephen Wragg is a key contributor of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia. He
has been a member for 24 years and is currently the Pharmacy Guild WA
Branch President. Stephen was the mastermind behind the Pharmacy WA
forum and has been working with his committee each year to advance and
improve the event.

I now invite him to the stage to officially welcome you to the 2017
Pharmacy WA Forum. Please welcome Stephen.

Governments new Federal budget.

Trent Twomey
In May, the Government introduced new budget measures to invest $825
million into the pharmacy industry. Trent Twomey, is Chair of the Guilds
Viability Committee and a member of the 6CPA Negotiating Committee. In
his role, he negotiates with the Government and today is here to explain
the impact of the new budget on the 6CPA.

Trent is a member and chairman on several committees focused on


healthcare and economic development. These include the Northern
Queensland Primary Healthcare Network, Advance Cairns and the
Northern Australian Alliance. At James Cook University, he is an Adjunct
Associate Professor and member of the Council.

Please join me in welcoming Trent.

morning tea.
