Design Project Presentation

These are the requirements for your final presentation. The amount of slides should be up to 20 slides
without backup slides.

Cover
Introduction Give an explanation of your actual design or part and its function
Problem Definition Explain the design problem you are trying to solve and what is the
significance of it.
Engineering Requirements Explain applicable engineering principles and fundamentals to solve
the design problem. Specify the engineering requirements that bound the solution of the design
problem

Analysis and Synthesis

Proposed Concepts Make sure to consider at least 3 different alternatives/concepts to solve

the design problem.
Engineering Analysis Solve the engineering problem and determine the course of action by
comparing the results with the established engineering requirements. Use Solidworks to make
the corresponding analysis.
Concept Selection Use Decision Matrix Tool to select the best concept.
Final Design Show final design concept using CAD Drawing with dimensions following
ASMEY14.5 Standard.
Conclusion Include a final conclusion and recommendations based on the results. Make sure
to explain the global impact of your design solution in terms of a global, economic,
environmental, and societal context.

Backup Slides Add as many slides as needed, scan and post any hand calculation
