Battaglione " Volontari dell'Orien".

Montenegro was divided in 2 : the Cattaro ( Kotor) province and the Governatorato del Montenegro .
The Cattaro province ( where was a seizable etnic italian population) was annexed to Italy . Here from
not italian population was created the Btg " Volontari dell'Orien". The uniforms are italian but colorated
in brown with a collar badge of two crossed swords : the same badge on red bakground orned a black
beret ( probably of Regia Marina origin). In Montenegro the only distintion of the true MVAC ( non
cetniks in temporary alliance) was a red, blu ,white brassard with in gold the C N M letters ( in cirillic )
for Comitato nazionalista Montenegrino ( national montenegrin comitee)
