I am a Miami Township resident for over 21 years and I strongly endorse Andy Papanek for Miami

Township Trustee.

I have known Andy Papanek since 1999 when we became neighbors in Miami Township. Living beside
someone almost 18 years allows you to get to know them quite well.

I can tell you that Papanek has devoted his life to service above self. His background includes serving his
country in the United States Air Force where he served with honor. He has also served as the Chief
Deputy of the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office and Police Chief for the City of Brookville for a total
of 38.5 years. Now, Papanek serves as our Miami Township Trustee where he works tirelessly to better
our community and bring jobs and opportunity to the area.

My claims are not a statement without fact. Pick up any issue over the last couple years of the Miami
Township Newsletter and you will see what Papanek has done for our community. You have seen him in
countless business and restaurant openings and ribbon cutting pictures as he has worked to bring new
employment opportunities to our community.

He continued with the groundwork for developing Austin Landing, now a place where my family and I
shop, eat, hang out, listen to live music and chase Pokmon. He has taken significant efforts to improve
parks in the area to include Waldruhe Park, a place I would have never taken my kids to when I first
moved here but where we enjoy riding our bikes to now. He worked on countless efforts providing
significant improvements and enhancements to traffic flow, beautification of our community and
encouraged many businesses to relocate and grow here.

Andy Papanek is invested in our Township which is evident through the involvement he has in our
community events and activities. For example, you will see him at the Youth Baseball fields in the
spring, cheering on his grandson play ball. You will see him and his wife passing out candy from their
drive way on Halloween. You will see him participating in Austin Landing Gives Back campaign that
raised $273,459 to non-profits and charities in the community. You will see him taking in a play to see
the young talent at their best in the Childrens Performing Arts of Miamisburg (CPAM). You will see him
continue to do great things for our Township.

My choice is clear. Andy Papanek has and will continue to be the best candidate to serve as trustee for
this Miami Township Community.

Sincerely,

Yvonne Vermillion
