My summer vacation

Summer vacations are long awaited by all of us. This is because we are tired of the
exams, the heat, long days etc. I feel bored as my mother always repeats the word,
STUDY. I am sure most of us begin the countdown, for the vacations right from the
month of March. We friends were discussing our vacation plans. I found out that most
of them would go out of station. I felt a bit sad, as I would be here in Chennai. My
parents are working and we have Usha aunty to take care of me when my parents are
away. My parents wont get leave for this vacation. Many of my friends would be visiting
their grandparents in their native places and would be back only in the first week of
June. My grandfather stays alone so, it will be difficult for him if I go there, thats what
my parents tell me. Only one boy in our class was leaving school for good. He is going
to settle in US. I was a bit jealous, as he was going to a new country. I am happy that he
was leaving, since he was a very rude guy. The long awaited vacations began. I am very
excited, I had made hundreds of plans. I was excited that I would be able to watch T.V.
for a long time. After about a week I slowly started to feel bored. I started sitting beside
the balcony, waiting for somebody to come to play. All children like to play with their
gadgets or the computer. My mother told me that my uncle would be coming from the
U.S. I was very happy as I knew that he would bring playstations for me. He was coming
alone for a month. He has a good sense of humour. Uncle Sam came with lots of toys,
but there were no playstations. He was surprised that these days children never played
out. The next day we went shopping. I enjoyed a lot. We had ice creams, saw a movie,
bought gifts etc. The following day we played cricket below our building. I was a bit
hesitant in the beginning, but later I enjoyed. We used to go everyday to play. Slowly,
the number of players increased. Now, we play every day, there are ten players and
Uncle Sam is our umpire. We are planning to keep a match with another team! The
retired elders in our building cheer us up from their balconies, which is a source of
encouragement for us. Uncle Sam is returning back tomorrow, but I am not very sad as
he showed us what realfun is! We are thankful to him as he brought us out of the world
of gadgets! Thank you Uncle Sam.

 Mis vacaciones de verano

Las vacaciones de verano estn tan esperada por todos nosotros. Esto se debe a que
estamos cansados de los exmenes, el calor, los das largos, etc. Me siento aburrido
como mi madre siempre se repite la palabra, "ESTUDIO." Estoy seguro que la mayora
de nosotros comienza la cuenta atrs, para las vacaciones desde el mes de Marzo.
Estamos hablando de nuestros amigos fuimos planes de vacaciones. Descubr que la
mayora de ellos salir de la estacin. Me sent un poco triste, como lo estara aqu en
Chennai. Mis padres estn trabajando y tienen ta Usha para cuidar de m cuando mis
padres estn fuera. Mis padres no consiguen salir para estas vacaciones. Muchos de mis
amigos sera visitar a sus abuelos en sus lugares de origen y que volvera slo en la
primera semana de junio. Mi abuelo se queda solo, as, ser difcil para l si voy all, eso
es lo que mis padres me dicen. Slo un nio en nuestra clase estaba saliendo de la
escuela para siempre. l va a establecerse en los Estados Unidos. Yo estaba un poco
celoso, cuando se diriga a un nuevo pas. Estoy feliz de que l se iba, desde que era un
tipo muy grosero. Las vacaciones tan esperadas comenzaron. Estoy muy excitado, me
haba hecho cientos de planes. Yo estaba emocionado que iba a ser capaz de ver T.V.
durante mucho tiempo. Despus de una semana poco a poco empec a sentir aburrido.
Empec sentado al lado del balcn, esperando a que alguien venga a tocar. Todos los
nios les gusta jugar con sus aparatos o el equipo. Mi madre me dijo que mi to sera
procedente de los EE.UU. Yo estaba muy feliz porque saba que iba a traer consolas de
videojuegos para m. El vena solo por un mes. l tiene un bun sentido del humor. To
Sam lleg con un montn de juguetes, pero no hubo consolas de videojuegos. Se
sorprendi de que en estos das los nios no jugaban a cabo. Al da siguiente fuimos de
compras. Yo disfrut mucho. Tuvimos helados, vio una pelcula, compramos regalos,
etc. Al da siguiente nos tocaba grillo debajo de nuestro edificio. Yo estaba un poco
indeciso al principio, pero luego me gust. Solamos ir todos los das a jugar. Poco a
poco, el nmero de jugadores aumenta. Ahora, jugamos todos los das, hay diez
jugadores y el To Sam es nuestro rbitro. Estamos planeando para mantener un
encuentro con otro equipo! Los ancianos jubilados en nuestro edificio nos animan
desde sus balcones, que es una fuente de estmulo para nosotros. To Sam est
regresando de vuelta maana, pero no estoy muy triste como l nos mostr lo que es
Realfun! Estamos agradecidos a l como l nos sac del mundo de los gadgets! Gracias
