Saudi IT spending is estimated at USS 4.1bn in 2012, up 9% year-on-year. Youthful demographics (60% population less than 30 years old) and a growing population which is expected to reach 30 milion by 2017 should drive demand as the Internet penetration is expected to rise to more than 80% by 2016 from current 49%.
