Fat Squirrel

 ACT ONE

EXT. THE FOREST - 6:00 A.M.

S
ammy the squirrel is about 3 1/2 pounds and is 3 years old. He
still lives with his mother. Sammy the squirrel was walking in
the forest to look for acorns for him and his mother. While hes
walking he trips on a rock and tumbles down a hill.

SAMMY

Ouch!

Sammy found about 100 acorns.

SAMMY

Oh my Jesus, I found so many acorns! Theres about 100 acorns

here.

He tries taking all the a

corns at once but he falls backwards
and all the acorns fall o nto him.

SAMMY

Damn it now I have to pick em all up again.

It cuts to the squirrel at home, and the the squirrel knocks on

the door so his mom can open it. His mother is about 5 years old
and weighs about 3 pounds. She opens the door and sees all the
acorns that her son brought to the house.

MOM
Where did you find all t

uts?
 SAMMY
I found them somewhere,somewhere in this world,somewhere far f ar
away. Sike I found them by tripping over a rock and landing o n
my face.

MOM
Wow that sounds like it hurt but good t
hing y
ou f
ound a

hese
nuts.

Sammy came into the house with all the acorns and he gave his
mother 10 of the acorns and she looked confused. Sammy then went
to his room with the rest of the acorns and stayed in there for
about two hours.

Act 2

INT. Squirrels house - 9:00 a.m.

S
ammys mother was worried about him so she knocked on his d oor
but didnt get an answer so she went inside and say that he w as
sleeping and he looked all fat.

MOM
Hey wake up!

Mom opens the door a

nd sees her son i s o n his bed asleep. H e
wakes up and jumps i n his bed once h e h ears his mom open t he
door.

SAMMY
Wait. Why do you want to me get up l
ady? I

oday.

MOM
I didnt think you w
ere asleep. Where are t

est o
f the nuts
that you brought?
 SAMMY
I ate t
hem all, w
hy?

MOM
Wait,what do you mean you a
te, t
hem, all?

The mom took about two seconds t

o s ay ate, t hem, a ll. per
word. She had a surprised look o n h er f ace. S ammy i s now sitting
on his bed.

SAMMY
I was really hungry so I a
te a
ll of them.

The mom starts raising her voice a little.

MOM
Wait,so you actually ate a
bout 9

n three hours?

SAMMY
Well in about two hours since I was asleep f
or l
ike a
n hour
before you woke me up.

He laughs right after he says this. The mom takes a big breath
before she starts screaming at Sammy.

MOM
Why would you even think of eating 90 acorns, huh? Dont you
know that you could get really sick and could gain a lot of
weight? You could actually die?

SAMMY
I just wanted to see whats the most acorns I could eat out of
them all.
MOM
You usually get full with just 12 acorns. Doesnt your stomach
hurt from all those nuts that you ate?

Sammy gave a weird face to his mother once she said this.
 SAMMY
Wait,mom can you please rephrase the last thing you j
ust s

me because that kinda sounded weird.

MOM
Im sorry, I didnt mean it like that. I m
eant to say, doesnt
your stomach hurt from eating 90 acorns? T his could really get
you fatter.

SAMMY

Wait,did you call me fat?

MOM
Wait,what, no. I didnt.

SAMMY

not even fat, Im fluffy.

Act 3

Sammy looks l
ike hes a bout t o cry. H is mother is t rying to
comfort him b y giving h im a h ug but h e pushes her a way.

MOM
Look,I didnt m
ean to call you fat, I meant t
o say that you
could gain more weight.

SAMMY
Youre not even t
hat skinny yourself. Youre j
ust a
s or even
more fatter than me.

Sammys mom has h

er mouth wide open because she is shocked at
what Sammy just t old her.
 MOM
ouldnt be this fat if it werent for you. I

fat if I didnt have all this baby fat I had from you.

SAMMY
Oh well you could have gotten skinny b
ut y

exercise.

MOM
Well, youre acting l
ike its so easy. Why h

ou tried to
exercise yourself?

Sammy
Well I dont really care about how big I m
ight be, because I was
comfortable with the way it looked until you called me fat.

ammy goes into the living room and lays face flat on the couch
and starts crying.

MOM
Hey,Sammy,Im sorry. I didnt mean to call you fat. Can you
please just stop crying?

SAMMY
No you shouldnt have called me f

MOM
Come on. Can you p

Sammy throws a pillow at his mothers face and and she falls
down.

Sammy looks up to her and stops crying when he hears her.

SAMMY
 Can I get as much as I want?

MOM
Yes, you can.

The mom and Sammy walk out the door to go find morE acorns.
