ammy the squirrel is about 3 1/2 pounds and is 3 years old. He
still lives with his mother. Sammy the squirrel was walking in
the forest to look for acorns for him and his mother. While hes
walking he trips on a rock and tumbles down a hill.

MOM
Where did you find all t

SAMMY
I found them somewhere,somewhere in this world,somewhere far f ar
away. Sike I found them by tripping over a rock and landing o n
my face.
MOM
Wow that sounds like it hurt but good t

nuts.
Sammy came into the house with all the acorns and he gave his
mother 10 of the acorns and she looked confused. Sammy then went
to his room with the rest of the acorns and stayed in there for
about two hours.

ammys mother was worried about him so she knocked on his d oor
but didnt get an answer so she went inside and say that he w as
sleeping and he looked all fat.

SAMMY
Wait. Why do you want to me get up l

MOM

that you brought?
SAMMY
I ate t

MOM
Wait,what do you mean you a

SAMMY
I was really hungry so I a

ll of them.
MOM
Wait,so you actually ate a

SAMMY
Well in about two hours since I was asleep f

before you woke me up.
He laughs right after he says this. The mom takes a big breath
before she starts screaming at Sammy.
MOM
Why would you even think of eating 90 acorns, huh? Dont you
know that you could get really sick and could gain a lot of
weight? You could actually die?
SAMMY
I just wanted to see whats the most acorns I could eat out of
them all.
MOM
You usually get full with just 12 acorns. Doesnt your stomach
hurt from all those nuts that you ate?
Sammy gave a weird face to his mother once she said this.
SAMMY
Wait,mom can you please rephrase the last thing you j

me because that kinda sounded weird.
MOM
Im sorry, I didnt mean it like that. I m
eant to say, doesnt
your stomach hurt from eating 90 acorns? T his could really get
you fatter.
SAMMY

comfort him b y giving h im a h ug but h e pushes her a way.
MOM

SAMMY

hat skinny yourself. Youre j

more fatter than me.
SAMMY
Oh well you could have gotten skinny b

MOM

ike its so easy. Why h

exercise yourself?

Well I dont really care about how big I m
ight be, because I was
comfortable with the way it looked until you called me fat.

ammy goes into the living room and lays face flat on the couch
and starts crying.
MOM
Hey,Sammy,Im sorry. I didnt mean to call you fat. Can you
please just stop crying?
SAMMY

Sammy throws a pillow at his mothers face and and she falls
down.

MOM
Yes, you can.
The mom and Sammy walk out the door to go find morE acorns.
