This document discusses providing multi-data glove interaction in a virtual environment. It describes initially connecting and interacting with a single data glove in virtual reality. The analysis was done and it will be extended to multiple glove interaction. Data gloves are commonly used as human-machine interfaces for virtual reality applications to achieve realistic object manipulation. Data gloves are gesture input devices that work using magnetic tracking or optical sensing to provide finger interaction inputs that are displayed virtually based on sensor measurements of finger bending angles.

To provide multi data glove interaction in virtual environment using 5DT
data gloves and vizard software. Initially single data glove is connected and interacted in virtual reality and the analyses have been done. It will be extended to multiple glove interaction in further proceedings. Virtual reality is one of the developing technologies in various fields. The man-machine interfaces plays key role, which would give interactions in the virtual environment. To achieve more realistic object manipulation, glove-based input devices are commonly chosen as the human-machine interfaces of virtual reality applications. Data glove is one of the important gesture input device which works on the principle of magnetic tracking or some optical communication. It provides the interactions by using various sensors and magnetic coils or by using various light sources and cameras. The input is given by using the fingers of the hand and it will be displayed virtually. The data glove is a multi-sensory device that generates a large amount of data and is more complex than other input devices. To reduce the complexity in this device is reduced by replacing with VR band which has similar technologies of data glove. When the fingers are bent, the sensors are also bent and the generated outputs are measured. Based on these outputs, the bending angles of the fingers are calculated. When users wear the VR band envelope, the stretching and bending of the finger joints occur very frequently.
