To the Selections Committee:

It pleases me to recommend Phoenix Chaytor to you. I have had the privilege to have Phoenix in several
classes in the past five years. She is a young lady who is inquisitive, insightful and definitely not one to
beat around the bush. Her honesty and willingness to ask the hard questions is refreshing. She is highly
creative and a strong leader.

Her leadership is shown in several areas. She has been involved in a leadership role in Summer Fun
Camps in the Town of Didsbury, in the Choices Seminars for Youth and as summer staff at Rivers Edge
Camp. She has also spearheaded The Anonymous Good program at school and in partnership with the
Town of Olds. This program is an international philanthropic effort which encourages people to do acts
of kindness in their communities.

In addition to these activities, Phoenix regularly participates in school and community drama
presentations throughout the year. She has been both onstage and behind the scenes as stage manager
in several productions.

Phoenix has an abundance of energy and ability that make her an asset to any organization, school or
activity.
