Dear Eller College Admissions Committee:

I am applying to the Eller College of Management as a Marketing major. My direct marketing

experience, analytical intelligence, and leadership skills are what have led me to pursue a major
in Marketing. I hope to broaden my marketing abilities, business communication skills, and
content marketing knowledge to have a successful sales career after graduation.

Last summer, I interned in the Marketing department of SuiteLife, a real estate company in
Barcelona. Having a diverse clientele, I utilized email, social media, and direct communication
marketing tactics to present listings to potential buyers. Shortly after returning from Barcelona, I
obtained my current marketing and analysis internship at Commercial Retail Advisors. Through
this internship, I conduct research and analyze both company and online databases in order to
market to a targeted clientele. Once the target market is identified, I incorporate various
marketing techniques to distribute brochures to our list of prospects. I have improved my
analytical and marketing skills through these experiences and am encouraged by the response
rates to my targeted sales tactics.

As the Sorority Relations Director for the fraternity of Alpha Sigma Phi, I manage a budget of
$3,000 and delegate tasks to a group of 15 board members. Recently, I assisted in organizing and
overseeing our philanthropic event. In order to increase our yield, I expanded our social media
and direct marketing programs to maximize participation at the event. This leadership position
has significantly enhanced my organizational skills and delegation abilities.

My marketing experience and analytical skills make me an ideal candidate for the Eller College
of Managements marketing program. I plan to showcase my leadership abilities, collaborative
skills and brand promotion experience to enhance the Eller College brand. Thank you for your
