The status of education in Japan play a big role in the country. It helped to raise the social

development in the country and publics intellect. The primary and secondary education is Japan

is well known because of how well it does for students. The education helps give equal

opportunities to all of their citizens. The way that it is determined how the education is doing is

based on the evaluation by the international society. The connection to that is that urbanization is

going up while the birthrates are decreasing. The education gives the kids good education with a

good mixture of curriculum which includes science, music, art and the 3-Rs. The different

curriculum was spread over the period of nine years. The level of the students based on their

learning is quite high. The average high school graduation rate is ninety percent of the class with

everyone being able to complete the years of the classes. The students were all motivated and

excited to learn the material of the classes and the environment that the students were in was

relaxing for them which made it easier to concentrate without being in an uncomfortable

environment where they might feel pressured. Students that do not feel pressured tend to do

better since they can learn at their own pace without worrying about where the other kids are at

with learning. The kids get conscious when they are behind where other kids are in the learning

process in their particular grade. The teachers that worked there were also willing to help the

students with any needs that they have and being able to do whatever it takes to help the students

succeed. For most places when people speak about public schools they think that there are a lot

of problems but for Japan the public-school system for great especially for the elementary and

secondary levels. Japan was willing to do anything they could to help out with the UN since they

were always doing something financial or other to help. The help that they gave was able to keep

Japan on the top for helping out which made their system of teaching look very good for a very

long time and it continues as so. Regarding the three priorities that were set by UN Global

Education Initiative Japan when it entered it there was effort made to help the organization. The

different efforts that were made to help included financially and active contributions. Japan had

been the largest donor for a decade, shouldering over 20% of the total volume of worldwide

official development assistance. The three different focuses for the UN are putting children in

school, improving the quality of learning and to foster global citizenship. The Japanese do very

well with keeping the kids in school with the different techniques that they use such as the better

environments to make sure the students are able to learn without feeling uncomfortable. The

Japanese did well with improving the quality of learning since they are always trying to do what

they can to make learning more enjoyable for students especially when they are young which

means when they are older they might enjoy learning more than if they did not like it from the

start. Regarding the idea of fostering global citizenship Japan does a good job with making the

students aware of the different issues that are happening everywhere now as well as what

happened in the past. The classes that are taught not only help the students understand what is

going on but also discusses possible solutions to help the different problems that happened in the

past compared to the ways that people solved the problems. The children that start out learning

young tend to do better than those who do not start until they are older and then realize that they

do not enjoy learning. The students that are in the schools are able to learn a lot but able to do it

in a way that makes sure that they understand and remember stuff they learn by doing it in a

place that is relaxing for the kids. The kids in Japan are more willing to go to school and learn

the material because of how the material is given to them on a daily basis and where they are

when they learn the required material.

Children Literacy showing how well the students are doing in school including the younger one

which affects them as they get older and learn more and continue in school because they enjoy

learning.

The rates in Japan of how many kids are in school is reported that four out of five kids are in

school. It shows how many kids are in school because of the good program that the schools offer

for the grades especially Elementary and Secondary education.
