WHAT IS AN AIR COMPRESSOR?

this machine collects air from the outside and then compresses it inside. by expelling this air, the
compressor can give enough power to another tool to operate, inflate wheels and other tasks that require
force.

COMPONENTS OF AN AIR COMPRESSOR

1. Head, is where the air is compressed

2. Electric motor, turn the pump and compress the air.
3. Tank, stores compressed air
4. Manometers, measure the air pressure
5. Regulator, regulates the output and the air pressure
6. Automatic, allows on and off when needed

USES OF AN AIR COMPRESSOR

Domestic.- It is generally used to paint household accessories such as doors, frames or

cabinets
Semi-industrial .- can be useful in a carpentry workshop
Industrial .- is used for the manufacture and painting of cars

HOW DOES AN AIR COMPRESSOR WORK?

through a filter, the compressor draws air from the outside; the air is then compressed with
a piston and stored in a reservoir (the dimensions of which depend to a large extent on the
type of machine with which we are working); thereafter the air is expelled by a flexible tube
by actuating the handle

WHAT IS AN AIR COMPRESSOR FOR?

Air compressors can have both domestic and industrial uses:

the first, which include small repairs or do-it-yourself tasks, can range from
inflating the wheels of a car or a bicycle to the varnishing of a piece of
furniture
as for the industrial applications of air compressors, there are many: lifting
or cooling systems, industrial painting, varnishing
