Informational Summary Assignment

Using your webquest research, please write a summary that describes what you have learned from gathering
information from multiple sources.
What do you know about South Sudan & the culture of its people and the Lost Boys & Salva Dut?
You are not simply re-writing all of the information; you have to determine what is most important and what
stands out to you. You cannot plagiarize, you must say where you got your information from or use quotes
do not pretend someone elses words are your own. You can say, According to water.org. etc.
A good summary of the information should be a strong paragraph, 6-10 complete sentences! It should be
one long paragraph.
Stay objectivethat means that you should not mention your opinion or your personal thoughts, simply
discuss what you have determined to be the most important information. No I think, of course you do!

Sudan it was apparent that the Civil War in South Sudan caused a great deal of destruction. For example,
