Week Four Singing

In our two singing sessions this week we continued to listen each other singing sections of
their songs and in turn giving them constructive criticism to help them to improve their
performance.
Katy showed us some techniques to stop/help us from being nervous while singing, like
swinging your arms back and forth at the same time and slightly bending your knees and
to improve the projection of the notes among our higher range, by squeezing down our
arms. In a way, pretending that we are squashing fruit under our arms.
It has made me feel more confident in front of the class, knowing that I'm not the only
one who suffers from nerves before singing, in this course. This will hopefully allow me to
get through performing in front of them better in the future.
