SOP for Preparation of the Tensile Strength Test Set Up

Standard operating procedure to prepare the tensile strength set up of a mucoadhesive gel using
previous model or set up to test the tensile strength of the aforementioned dosage form.

PURPOSE

To test the tensile strength of the mucoadhesive gel.

SCOPE

This procedure is applicable to the aforementioned dosage form research.

Apparatus:

Iron Stand

Double Beam Balance

Set of Weights

Materials:

2 Porcine Cheek

Improvise Glass Container or Beaker

Nylon Strings

1 Wood Block

4 screw nails

Adhesive glue

Procedure

Place the double beam balance at the top of the iron stand. Fix the double beam to secure attachment.
