Practical Asssignment One

Video Advert
You have been commissioned to put an advertising campaign
together for The Henley College student services team.

Stage one of the campaign is to produce a video advert which will inform
and educate students at The Henley College on a
range of issue which impact on their lives and how to
manage these concerns or find help. The advert
must be no longer than 30 seconds and must be
suitable for broadcast on daytime television and
on social media channels which may be
accessed by young people.

The issues are:

1. Bullying (especially cyber-bullying)


2. Anxiety and depression
3. Eating disorders
4. Grooming
5. Risky behaviour
6. Radicalisation and extremism

The advert must use the correct signs and techniques

The wording, mise-en-scene and imagery will be considered and the advert
must be emotive.

You are either shocking the audience or making them feel guilty. They must
feel like the person in the advert could be them.
