1. Introduction

Choose one problem of how people behave. This should be a specific problem (like
for example: I use to spend much money than I should, or my colleagues are not
enough motivated at their jobs, despite their high salaries) and not a general one. It
may be also formulated as a question, like for example: is there any way in which I
can improve my consumption habits?
Write about the scale of the behavior (how bad you think it is?) and explain why the
behavior is problematic and important to be studied (who benefits from the study
and from fixing up this problem?).

2. Literature review

This is a part of your study that we will help you to cover in the two years of the
master program. However, we will appreciate if you can refer to some research that
has already been done, and is relevant to the issue. Try to tell us what others have
done in the area (through experiments, theory etc). Be sure to also refer to papers
from the recommended reference list.
Ideally, it will be nice to mention the existing gap in the literature (what is missing,
either was not said before or it needs more details)

3. Objectives and approach/methodology

Formulate some specific objectives of your research and try to envisage how you
reach those objectives given your current expertise (would you use existing data or
maybe collect new one, would you make interviews, focus groups, a case study etc).
It is just a proposal so it is not expected to have an answer to your research question
or a very structured work plan.

4. Practical impact

Estimate some concrete, practical directions that can be improved based on your
research and explain how you will evaluate the benefits.
