INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR MODEL BANK R-12

Before following the below steps, kindly EXTRACT the R12.000.GA.CBMB_REF_MB.JR.win64.SCU.TAFCR12 to

Drive C. This setup requires WINDOWS 7 64bit.

STEP-1: Login with any profile that has administrator rights and activate the ADMINISTRATOR profile (if not
activated).

STEP-2: After logging in from ADMINISTRATOR profile, create a new user by following these steps:

1. Right click on MY COMPUTER.

2. Click MANAGE.
3. Select LOCAL USERS AND GROUPS
4. Double Click USERS
5. Right click anywhere and select NEW USER from options.

STEP-3: Login from R12 user and rename the password.

STEP-4: Logout from R12 and re-login from ADMINISTRATOR.

STEP-5: Again go to USERS by following the steps defined in STEP-2. After point 4, follow these steps:

1. Double Click R12 user.

2. On GENERAL Tab, Check PASSWORD NEVER EXPIRES.
3. On PROFILE Tab, insert LOCAL PATH as: C:\Temenos\ModelBank-R12\Temenos\bnk\bnk.run
4. Click Apply and then OK.

STEP-6: Click Start Menu and type cmd

STEP-7: Run cmd as Administrator.

STEP-8: On cmd command line, follow as:

1. Type cd C:\Temenos\ModelBank-R12\Temenos\TAFC\bin and hit ENTER.

2. Type telnetd install and hit ENTER.
3. You should get a message of INSTALL COMMAND SUCCEEDED.

STEP-9: Now we need to start the jBASE Telnetd services. Follow below:

1. Right click on MY COMPUTER.

2. Click MANAGE.
3. Double Click SERVICES AND APPLICATIONS
4. Double Click SERVICES
5. Locate jBASE Telnetd Server
6. Right Click and Select START (if not started automatically).

STEP-12: Change the system date to year 2012.

STEP-11: Agents need to be run for T24. Follow steps below:

1. Go to MY COMPUTER > DRIVE C > TEMENOS > MODELBANK-R12 > BATFILES

2. Always run these agent files: startjagent and startjboss
3. Let these agents run for 2-3 mints to start.

STEP-12: Click T24 Sign In for login page. Location Path is C:\Temenos\ModelBank-R12\

STEP-13: Click for Users SIGN ON NAME AND PASSWORD. Location Path is C:\Temenos\ModelBank-
R12\Documents\
