Preparation: Decoction. Steamed


MEDICAL PLANT PREPARATIONS
1. Decoction Boil the recommended part of the plant material in water. Recommended boiling times is
20 minutes.

2.Infusion Plant is soaked in hot water, much like making a tea, Recommended period of soaking is 10-
15 minutes.

3.Poultice Directly apply recommended plant material on the part affected, usually used on bruises,
wounds, or rashes.

4.Tincture - Mix the plant material in alcohol.
