Dear University Students,

On behalf of Indonesian Navy We would like to conduct ASEAN Cadet Seminar 2016 in order to enhance
relationship among cadets and students as young generation in ASEAN countries. The objectives of
ASEAN Cadet Seminar are to present the current issues of ASEAN so that the young generation has
broader knowledge and high sensibility over environments, to integrate ideas and findings from speakers
and participants for concrete steps taken by the government, to formulate proper policy in order to over
come the current issues with comprehensive strategy and to propose concrete steps upon strategic
environment development notably enhancing maritime security and stability in Southeast Asia.

6. How to Register

a. This seminar is FREE of charge. The committee does not provide accomodation and the transport from
out side Surabaya. We provide shuttle transportation from Juanda Airport, Bungurasih Bus Station,
Gubeng and Pasar Turi Train Station and some meeting points in Surabaya.

b. Each student is required to wear Batik and Almamater as the dress code

c. Each student is required to make 2 pages opinion about the theme and send to
rizalkuddah@gmail.com. Put your Complete name, active mobile phone number, registration number,
faculty, department and university you are representing. Make sure after you have sent the opinion and
scanned or photo of your student ID, please confirm to Rizal Kuddah 08175273884 by sending SMS in the
format (Name Title faculty department university name. ex: Rizal Kuddah The effectiveness of
ASEAN Cooperation Languages and Art Faculty English Department UNESA)

d. After you have sent the paper we will give you notification your participation in the seminar.

e. Each student is provided certificate as the participation in the seminar.

We will send the official invitation to your university. This is as a prior announcement to prepare your 2
