Please accept the attached resume as part of my application for a nursing

position at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital on the 4 South Unit. I will be
graduating from University of South Floridas College of Nursing VCARE
baccalaureate program on December 9th, 2017. In addition to my 17-month
practicum experience at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital on numerous units, I
spent 17 months as an army medic, and one year of that at an army clinic in
Illesheim, Germany. I have been very fortunate during my time in this program
to have had exceptional registered nurse mentors and preceptors at James A.
Haley Veterans Hospital, particularly 4 south, whom have clinically and
professionally prepared me for my first position as a registered nurse following
graduation.

I would appreciate the opportunity to interview for one of the available positions
on this unit as a new graduate nurse. I understand that University of South
Floridas School of Nursing VCARE program has an NCLEX-RN pass rate of
100% thus far. I have also had the opportunity to work with many registered
nurses that graduated from the University of South Florida College of Nursing
and have found them to be professional and clinically competent and caring in
their work, and they had felt that the program had truly prepared them for
taking on the responsibility as an independent registered nurse.
