Dear Mr. Williams,

I have recently been informed of the interaction that you had with our office manager, Jim
about an event that is taking place in a city you will be traveling to. I am deeply sorry that it
took place and I am aware that you would like him to be disciplined after offering an apology
because it offended you. According to my understanding of the situation, you made several
comments that could be used as racial slurs when talking about an event in the city and how
you made it clear you did not want to be near the event. Jim then politely told you that your
language was offensive to him.

Under federal and state law, we are in accordance to support our employee. If Jim, found a
situation to be offensive and discriminatory we are to support him in this issue. Although we
value your complaint and opinion here at Leisure futures, we are not at liberty to discipline our
employee when he was offended by your language that he deemed to be discriminatory or
racial. We must ensure a safe work environment for our employees and Jim was involved in this
incident that he was uncomfortable with.

I sincerely hope that this message has cleared up any confusion stemming from the situation.
Again, I would like to apologize for your experience and will do anything we can to resolve this
situation peacefully so that you will continue to do business with us in the future. If you would
like further clarification on this matter, I will be happy to provide anything necessary, however,
Jim is not in a position to be disciplined according to the law.

If you have any other questions of comments, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will
be happy to help you in any way possible.

Yours truly,

Josh Larson
