Cubs Manager, Joe Maddon, will be at the ARC on Friday to speak high school
students about his life and career advice

High school students in the Champaign-Urbana area will be invited to attend an event at the
ARC in which the manager of the Chicago Cubs, Joe Maddon, will be speaking about his life
and career advice for the students. His success over the course of his career has been impressive
and he will share some of his methods for success with those in attendance. The event will be in
the large ballroom on the second floor on November 10th, 2017.

Campus Recreation is excited to have Mr. Maddon on campus to share his experiences with the
youth of our community. We believe that he is a great role model for students looking to decide
what they want their future to be.

Campus Recreation and the University of Illinois invites all high school students to attend this
once-in-a-lifetime event to learn from one of sports best managers. He is considered a great
motivator of his players and we are hoping he has the same effect on those in attendance.
