Todorovs Narrative Theory

The theory suggests that all films follow a particular

pattern consisting of the events seen in the cycle right.
Life is peaceful and then something disturbs this and the
characters realise this problem and try to resolve it which
leads to a happy ever after.
Application of Theory
My trailer will appear happy at first
with happy music (equilibrium) and
then the character will be
introduced as lonely (problem) which
will be resolved with the doll
(attempt to repair). However this just
causes more problems and she
must escape the dolls possession.
However, I dont want to show that
this is resolved to encourage people
to watch it at cinema as if I show too
much it might discourage people to
be interested in it.
