This letter is to convey my interest to match University of North Floridas combined dietetic
internship/masters degree program in the Spring of 2018. I am excited to further my
knowledge by obtaining my masters degree while completing my intern requirements to
become a Registered Dietitian. Although I am grandfathered in with a bachelorettes
degree, I believe it is utmost important for me to complete this degree now for future job
opportunities and security. I know UNF is an excellent school with top curriculum and
teachers, which will heighten my qualifications for the field of dietetics.

My array of experience gives me confidence and qualification for this program. I am

comfortable communicating, listening, and catering to clients needs with my 12 years
experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist. I have experience teaching stress
management through teaching adult and kids yoga, meditation, and breathwork. I use my
creativity each week to plan yoga classes, which correlates with my ability to work with a
variety of ages. I have experience collecting and inputting research data with UNFs
Neophobia Research team. I had the opportunity to teach children about farming and
produce while incorporating yoga into Schoolyard Farms kids summer farm camp in
Portland, OR. I utilized my food management skills while volunteering in the kitchen at the
Amrit Yoga Institute in Salt Springs, FL. My experiences have advanced my awareness and
skills for the dietetic field.

I would be honored and delighted to match to UNFs combined dietetic internship/masters

degree program and contribute to the consistent outcomes that this program provides our
community. I am a dedicated hard-working individual who is ready to enhance my
qualifications in the dietetic field to ensue I provide top quality service to all clients. The
