Okay boys and girls, turn to a shoulder partner and when I count to three say
out loud what 8+6 is!

Good! I am going to say a few more addition problems and I want you to tell
the whole class your answer.

Great Job everyone! Now turn to your partner, when I say go I want you to

find a spot in the room and take turns giving each other addition problems to

practice. Keep going until you here the buzzer!

Teacher grabs three one hundred blocks, two tens blocks, and 5 ones blocks
and writes an addition sign.

Lucy, give me three different numbers!

Teacher grabs two one hundred block, seven tens blocks, and nine ones
blocks.
Now we are going to put all of these together
