Treacher Collins Project: Expectations/Limitations/Grading

Project Due Date: October 20, 2017

Project Details:
o Choose a project from the project menu: Poster, Brochure, Power
Point, or Sway
o You may work individually or with a partner
o Grades: You will receive 1 grade for research and 1 grade for your
project/presentation
Project Expectations:
o Graphics: Please include at least 1 graphic on your poster,
brochure, or digital project
o Information: Use all of the information you collected through
your research on Treacher Collins Syndrome
o Bibliography/References: Give credit to your sources using the
format covered in class. Remember, dont plagiarize..its not
your work
o Neatness: Your work should reflect the ability of a 5th grader. Be
sure to organize your project and think about your audience
o Spelling/Grammar: Use grade appropriate vocabulary and be sure
to use digital tools to check your grammar and spelling
Limitations:
o BYOD: If you are using your own device, you must disable your
cellular network and log on to the Cobb Mobile Wireless with your
student account
o Web Searches: You must use the approved links in the Student
Resources Section or you must search through Bing for Schools
o Wikipedia: Wikipedia may not be used for a source as we have
discussed sources must be reliable
