To replace a defective Floppy disk drive with the new SD Card drive the
following tools are required:

1- Screwdriver, Torx 10
2- Screwdriver, flat head 6mm
3- Screwdriver, for stag screws
4- Screwdriver, cross head pozi-drive

Parts should be handled and work performed in an antistatic environment i.e.

perform the work on a grounded desk/table or use an antistatic table mat and a
grounding bracelet.

Note: In case replacement of the floppy drive in a TT-3606E/DT4646E Message

Terminal produced before 03/2006 is required the Technical Notification
Service of the TT-3606E/4646E Message Terminal. Mechanical design of the
floppy drive has been changed. dated May 2007 still applies, i.e. unless the
floppy drive has already been replaced previously according to this Technical
Notification, the Message Terminal must be sent to a Thrane & Thrane Regional
Workshop or to Thrane & Thrane Repair Centre to have the mechanical floppy
drive replaced with the solid state drive.
