Science Observation Reflection

For the science observation I did, for the most part, the students were just working on a

kahoot. Ive always enjoyed doing kahoots myself for reviews, so it was good to see elementary

schoolers so engaged in the kahoot as well. I like how Mr. Childress elaborated on each question

from the kahoot, so he was still building students knowledge and not just sitting back and

watching. I also liked how at the end of the kahoot, he very quickly did a lab with the students. It

shows that even though he wasnt planning on doing it, he was still prepared to do so. I wish I

had the opportunity to observe more science in school, it would be great if science was more

focused on in schools. Students seem to enjoy science, and I think it is important students enjoy

school. When I am a teacher, I will try my best to integrate science and social studies with other

subjects as much as possible.
