BIOGRAPHY

Queen is a British rock band formed in 1970 in London by the singer

Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, the drummer Roger Taylor and the
bassist John Deacon. While the group has reported casualties of two of its
members (Mercury, died in 1991, and Deacon, retired in 1997), the
remaining members, May and Taylor, continue working under the Queen
name, so the band is still considered active.

The group enjoyed great success in the UK with many of its albums. The
latter drew international attention, especially for the single "Bohemian
Rhapsody", and placed Queen in the foreground of the music scene. This
band includes differents types of music such as hard rock, heavy metal,
glam rock, progressive rock, folk, blues and pop. In this regard,
performances such as those of Live Aid in 1985 or the 1986 Wembley
Stadium concert have been recognized as two of the best rock concerts in
history.
Anlisis
The song talks about the habitual frustration that people usually feel, that
feeling of incapacity, feeling useless, unable to achieve what one wants. A
child who dreams of a better life, becomes a young man who struggles to
reach his goals and finally becomes an old man who could never fulfill his
dreams. Thus, it tells the story of a person who identifies all those who can
not reach their goals and who are frustrated their dreams. This depressing
letter marks a contrast to the intense rhythm of footprints and palms of
the subject.
For its part, the refrain, which says "We will rock you", has little to do with
the rest of the verses.
