 Chinese new actions
In 2013, 6 Chinese ministries jointly issued a document
concerning the promotion of terrestrial DTV in China.
The document stipulated that all new manufactured TV sets
in China after Jan. 1. 2015 should have the ability to receive
the terrestrial DTV signals and all the products should
correspond with the DTMB standard.

SARFT announced in 2014 that

First phase of opening bidding: May 13, 2015
Total money of the first phase equipment: 1.75 billion RMB
3117 TV stations. 5846 TV transmitters . 12 CCTV programs.
4 provincial TV programs and
4 radio programs in 1
bandwidth of provincial SFN.
If there is free frequency, another
bandwidth of MFN can be added
for local programs.

The programs do not transmitted by SDH(Synchronous Digital
Hierarchy), but by satellite.
