What do I like about this music video?

In The Killers Read My Mind, I really like the location of the music video. This video is set in Times
Square, New York and it immediately creates a vibrancy that is reflected through the melodies of the
song. Furthermore, I enjoy the performance aspect of music video because it incorporates the
location and the lead singer, Brandon Flowers.

What do I like about this music video?

What I like about this music video is the narrative. This music video depicts a relationship in turmoil,
but the partners are toxic to each other but are simultaneously inseparable. Additionally, through
mise en scene of the costume, I connect with the music video because I share similar clothing
interests.

What do I like about this music video?

The performance aspect of this music video is the factor which engrosses me. The song is fast and
upbeat which Pelle Almqvist represents accurately through his performance, along with the other
band members. The co-ordinated costumes are also interesting, which attracts me to this music
video.

What do I like about this music video?

What I like about this music video is the CGI used. The entire music video is CGI which attracts me
because not many other artists utilise this piece of technology to create music videos. Not only this
but, I like the characters created by CGI because theyre dysfunctional and I believe it adds a
comedic effect. Furthermore, the introduction of the song adds comedic value as they diegetic
sound is in a strange accent.

What do I like about this music video?

I love this music video because of the fact that it is an illustrative narrative and therefore the lyrics
are acted out by people. This helps me understand the song more because there are lyrics that I
dont know, because of the fast pace of the song. The actors casted in this music video attracts me
because my interest in This Is England. The character of the pimp, Stephen Graham, plays the role of
Combo in This Is England.

The lighting used in this particular music video is engrossing because it changes as the beat changes
so it creates a hectic atmosphere, which encourages me to perform the song myself and therefore I
find enjoyment out of watching the music video.

What do I like about this music video?

What I like about this music video is the CGI used. Due to the songs mysterious sounds and
melodies, the strange CGI incorporated into the music video makes it the music video and the song a
little more enigmatic, which engrosses me.

I love the fact that this music video is set on a train in a foreign country, which links to So lonely.
Moreover, the fact that the band members feature in this music video and they are given freedom of
what to do makes it more spontaneous, which is what I really enjoy about this music video.
Furthermore, the rustic quality of the music video, in my opinion, makes it more fashionable
because I think of Vintage when I watch this music video.

The storyline is very captivating in this music video, and it is completely illustrative of the lyrics which
why I find it interesting because the lyrics are interesting too. Furthermore, the casting of this music
video is brilliant because the protagonist looks exactly like Eminem, which entices me into the music
video.

What do I like about this music video?

I particularly like the location of this music video because it is not exhibited in most music videos and
therefore it sets it apart from the normal, mainstream location. Furthermore, the extreme wide
shots exhibited in this music video help the audience to see the location in this music video. Lastly,
the natural lighting of the sun helps intensify the raw sound, as the sun is raw too.

What do I like about this music video?

I like this music video because of the setting. The setting is in a high-rise luxury apartment with other
expensive things as props and therefore this immediately attracts me because these luxuries are
desirable.

I personally like the red lighting used in this video the video because it reflects the dangerous
relationship, which is depicted in the lyrics.

What do I like about this music video?

I like this music video because of natural setting of the entire music video because it fits into the idea
that Folk and nature are inextricably linked. Furthermore, the casting of Idris Elba to play the lead
role is very clever because hes a very good actor, who is very popular right now.

What do I like about this music video?

Im attracted to this music video, simply because of the quality of the music video itself.
Furthermore, I like the fact that its set in Africa, where we see happy faces instead of sad faces we
are expecting to see.

In this music video, I really like the costume because of the fact that I am interested in older, more
vintage clothing. Furthermore, the adidas shoes are relatable because theyre my favourite brand of
shoe.

I particularly like the performance aspect of this music video because as a drummer enthusiast, I
think watching the protagonist drum is very interesting. Furthermore, the black and white lighting
adds an authentic effect to the video and it is very different to any of the other Arctic Monkey music
video.

The thing I like about this music video about this music video is the fact that it is a mixture type of
music video. The music video starts off before the gig and then shows the band playing the gig,
therefore it almost gives the audience a feel for the night.

I love the fact that this video is a mixture type of music video and uses an asylum for the location,
with the band members dressed up as patients. This is represented in the lyrics and the title because
it suggests the protagonist is isolated from society.

The narrative in this music video is impeccable and the location in the music booth adds a comedic
effect, as well as the elderly women being the antagonist because the elderly are usually presented
as innocent, not evil.

The camera angles exhibited in this music video is what makes the music video appeal to me. One of
the first shots is of Angus Youngs guitar, and it clearly shows how is playing the opening riff. I also
like the location used in this music video because it evokes the feeling that it is a hidden away rock
concert.
