You are on page 1of 1

Materials:

Duct tape
Towel (The thicker the better)
5" Zippy Tie ("Plastic Handcuffs")
Dog leash (Chain or steel cable, NOT material or rope)

Wrap your left-arm (if you are right handed) with the towel. To hold the towel on
wrap it with duct tape. Loop the zippy tie and allow it to click a couple of times.

Now with alot of balls approach the dog with the "wrapped" arm out in front of you
at throat level, now bend down as the dog comes closer showing the arm as a target.

With luck the dog will grab the arm with his teeth, if you wrapped your arm right
you should feel nothing more than slight pinching(NOT TEETH). Quickly drop to the
ground and roll on top of the dog pinning him to the ground, take the wrapped arm
and press his head to the ground. Now with your free hand slip the tie over his
mouth and pull until snug (DO NOT tighten too tight or you will close the breathing
tubes running on the top of the snout). As an extra measure you can tie or duct
tape the legs if you wish, or put extra duct tape over the snout. You have just
disabled the dogs only offensive weapon. Now drag him to an anchor (PARKED car ,
tree, fence post, etc.) so if he does get loose he will be of no threat to you.

There you go...

Verdammnis

P.S. I haven't tried this on a Pit Bull, yet........

You don't, if you have your left arm wrapped; you would use your "free arm" or your
right arm to put the tie over his mouth. Assuming you have his head pinned with
your left arm.

As for the zippie-ties, you can find them at most hardware stores, sometimes in the
electrical section (good for fastening cords together) or just ask where the "Zip-
Ties" are.
