Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to inform that there will be a significant increase in my monthly rent as
of 5th November 2017 . you about my increase requesting financial assistance to help assist me in
paying my mont

Ever since I started the University of Guyana to pursue my studies in Mechanical engineering,
accommodation had always been an issue since Im from linden (out of town).However , that
has change since I started renting at lot 16 area Q Turkeyen, East Coast Demerara. The
apartment that I'm accommodating has undergo modern rehabilitation such as:
1.The bathroom and toilet that was outside is now inside of the apartment which reduces the
discomfort of having to go outside at anytime of the day to utilize it.
2.There had been installation of adequate lighting around the apartment and also the fixture of
faulty points that used to cause minor shocks.
3.The apartment now have one 5 ft mini fridge ,one microwave, two burner gas stove ,one
office chair and an office desk to write on.
4.There will be Internet service installation which is said to take effect by the 25th October 2017
5.Two (2) black tanks have been installed as back up in case of situation whereby the pipe is
not running .

My current rental accommodation fee is $14,000. As of the 5th November 2017 the monthly rent
will increase to thirty three thousand Guyana dollars $33,000 due to the recent upgrades and
fixtures.
My biggest challenge that I will be facing as of November 5th is paying the monthly rental
accommodation fee of thirty three thousand Guyana dollars ($33,000). Im facing a very critical
financial issue since Im practically living by myself and I have a lot of expenses to cover such
as transportation ,meal and assignment etc.

Im thankful for the tremendous support that Im that I have been receiving. I would really
appreciate it if I could receive financial assistance to pay my rental fee on a monthly basis. I can
